The Unborn Voice

I would have served You there on earth;

     I could have shown You all my worth.

I never saw the stars or sky; I don’t know why-

     They made me die.

You knew me in my mother’s womb;

     You heard her say, “There’s just no room.”

A tiny life I was back then-

     So short my day’s empty of sin.

Young girl, they’ll tell you, “It’s your choice..

     Please don’t silence my small voice.

Although you have the right to choose,

     Think of all you have to lose.

Then straight to You I came, oh, Lord-

     Just as written in Your Word.

So soon I was your heavenly guest

     Before I ever took a breath.

I got to learn true love from You;

     It’s shown in everything You do,

I pray that they’ll be glory bound

     ‘Cause their salvation can be found.

Young girl, they’ll tell you, “It’s your choice..

     Please don’t silence my small voice.

Although you have the right to choose,

     Think of all you have to lose.

You knew me in my mother’s womb;

      You heard her say, “There’s just no room.”

A tiny life I was back then-

     So short my day’s empty of sin.

Please, someone, hear my unborn voice.
