Alcohol is the legal drug.
A lot of alcoholics like speed too,
because alcoholics is an alcoholic.
Your choice of drugs is alcohol, but
anything that can help you drink more of it,
you’re in favor of.

So none of it is good,
and that’s not what God wants for you.
And that’s why you’re here anyways
Most of you are recovering alcoholics or drug addicts,
but they’re one and the same.

The shakes that you go through and the
tremors that you go through from alcohol,
or every bit as powerful as anything that
you’ll go through from the other drugs.

But there’s only one person that can
absolutely deliver you from that,
and His name is Jesus Christ.

So I want to sing a little song for you
that I took, I took an old old 40s song
called the Midnight Special.
And then I came up with the song about
the very last day that I
took a drink 15 years ago.

All of it’s true, so listen to the words
and maybe you’re already delivered.
I pray to God that you are.
