Closing Words

Closing Words

By Dennis L. Harrison

Thank you very much, thank you so much.
Well, every head’s bowed
and every eye is closed
and no one’s looking around.
I wanna ask you if you’ve
never accepted Jesus Christ
into your heart as your Lord and Savior,
I’d like to ask you to do that tonight.

Would you say, I’ve never
asked Christ into my heart,
but I want to tonight.
Would you raise your hand?
Yes, yes, I see the hands, yes.

Now, I want you to
raise your other hand up
so you have both hands up.

I ask people to do that
because Jesus had both his hands
nailed up for you on a cross.
While you were still a
sinner, he died for you.

I want you to repeat
after me and say this
with all your heart and mean it.
“Dear Lord Jesus, I wanna
ask you into my heart tonight.
I want you to be my Lord and Savior.
I am sorry for my sins,
and I want you to cleanse my heart
from all unrighteousness.
I know you died for me,
and I believe you are
my Lord and Savior now.
I ask this in Jesus’ name, amen.”

Alright, praise the
Lord, praise the Lord.
Let’s give him a hand
tonight, God bless you.
