Genesis 1:26-27.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
And God said, “Let us make man in our own image
after our likeness.”
So God created man in his own image,
both male and female.

Get your Bible open; you’ll find in the beginning
We were all created —made in God’s own image.
From the dust that He formed you,
He breathed in man the breath of life.
Made us all eternal beings; His Son sacrificed

I like tellin’ people, “For God so loved the world”;
He gave His one and only Son to die on Calvary.
That’s why I love Him so,
You know because “He first loved me,”
“He set my feet on solid rock””
And now my soul is set free.

Some glorious day,
He will come take us away.
We’ll meet Him in the sky—
Never gonna die.
