So far we’ve come to worship the King-

     Led by a star these treasures we bring.

At the right place and at the right time,

     Prophet fulfilled, and oh, what a find!

You, Bethlehem in Judah land,

     Now so a part of God’s great plan;

From you has come One Who will lead-

     Lead like a Shepherd, Prophet, and Priest.

“Don’t be afraid; good news I bring,”‘

     One angel said, and others would sing,

“Peace on the earth, good will to men,

     Glory to God in the highest we send.

You, Bethlehem in Judah land,

     Now so a part of God’s great plan;

From you has come One Who will lead – 

     Lead like a Shepherd, Prophet and Priest.

Show the open eyes; tell the listenin’ ears.

     Hear the angels cry; know that God is here.
