A Place Called Heaven
A Place Called Heaven
Lyrics by Dennis L. Harrison
There is a place called Heaven
Beyond the crystal sea—
Above the moon, the sun, and the stars,
It’s where I long to be.
There is a place called Heaven;
The Bible tells me so.
And when my life on earth is o’er,
I’ll walk on streets of gold.
Since there is a Heaven,
Then there must be a Hell—a place I don’t wanna go.
But by His grace, He took my sins away
On the cross so long ago;
[Guitar Solo]
Oh take it up and sing it Dennis
It won’t be long till I’ll be goin’ —
That beautiful city I’ll see.
Forever I will rest in peace
Throughout eternity.
If I go before you,
I’ll wait for you, that’s for sure.
But if you go before I do,
Please wait for me on that shore.
If, my friend, you don’t know the Lord—
His name you’ve never cried.
Just call on Him-the One crucified;
It’s for your sins He died.
There is a place called Heaven
Beyond the crystal sea.
Above the moon, the sun, and the stars,
It’s where I long to be.
It’s a place called Heaven!
