Come To The Light
Come to the Light

You’ve been livin’ in the darkness, doin’ wrong.
Your eyes have been dilated far too long.
There’s gonna be discomfort when you come into the Light.
Take the blinders off, and you’ll receive your sight.
For some time now, theres been an achin’ in your soul;
You think you might be losing all control.
And the things that brought you happiness has only caused you pain;
You’re empty, and the loneliness remains.
Don’t you think it’s time for your surrender?
You know you can’t keep living this way.
We are sinners! It’s your decision if you wanna be a Christian.
Turn you back on evil today. Come to the Light!
It’s cold, and the wind has chilled you like a stone.
There ain’t no shelter, and it just keeps blowin’
But up ahead you think you see a glimmer,
And you know you’re like a moth attracted to its glow.
You’ve almost hit rock bottom, tryin’ to make it on your own,
And in your eyes, the loneliness is showing.
But Jesus loves you— can’t you hear Him callin’ out your name?
He will take your burdens and your shame.
Don’t you think it’s time for your surrender?
You know you can’t keep living this way.
We are sinners! It’s your decision if you wanna be a Christian.
Turn you back on evil today. Come to the Light!
I hear you tellin’ me you’re too far gone,
And you could nevert ever quite belong.
I know. He’ll keep you walkin’ on the straight and narrow path,
And you will know the good way from the bad.
If, my friend, you’ll take the gift that He alone can give,
Exempt from death by grace you’re gonna live.
It takes a lot of faith to kill the darkness of the night;
Please take that step and come into His light.
Don’t you think it’s time for your surrender?
You know you can’t keep living this way.
We are sinners! It’s your decision if you wanna be a Christian.
Turn you back on evil. Come to the Light!
