Where He Leads

You know that I’m so disappointed-
     Thought that I had been anointed;
Everything was goin’ my way;
     I just can’t figure it out why I’m havin’ these doubts today.

My faith is gettin’ weaker; everything is lookin’ bleaker.
     So used to havin’ my way;
I need to get back in His will.
     Need His Spirit to fill me today.

From now on, where He leads you know I’ll go-
     Mountains, valleys, waters deep or shallow.
The Lord’s my shepherd; His voice I’m gonna follow.
     Where the Lord leads, you know that I will go.

Leaning on my understanding-
     Not on the everlasting arms of my Father above.
Working hard in my own strength,
     Instead of His love, sweet love.

From now on, where He leads you know I’ll go-
     Mountains, valleys, waters deep or shallow.
The Lord’s my shepherd; His voice I’m gonna follow.
     Where the Lord leads, you know that I will go.

Lord, please forgive me.
     I’m sorry for goin’ my way,
But by Your grace, I’m changin’
     Startin’ today.

From now on, where He leads you know I’ll go-
