What Do You Bring The New Born King?

What do you bring to the

     New Born King?

Do you have a drum to play?

     Do you have some Gold for Him,

on this Christmas day?

      I only have my heart to give.

I have no drum to play.

 

My heart will beat in time for Him

     Each and every day.

My inner heart is what Christ wants

     His birth has made the way.

I have no Gold to bring to Him

     on this Christmas day.

 

What do you bring to the

     New Born King?

Do you have a flute to play?

     Do you have some Frankincense

on this Christmas Day?

     I only have my hands to give.

I have no Flute to play.

 

I’ll raise them high in praise to Him

     And clasp ten fingers when I pray.

I only have two hands to give,

     No Frankincense to display.

I’ll try and be His hands on earth on

     this Christmas day.

 

What do you bring to the New Born

     King?

Do you have a Harp to play?

     Do you have some Myrrh for Him on

this Christmas Day.

     I only have my voice to give,

No Myrrh or Harp to play.

 

I’ll use my voice to sing this verse,

     A Savior’s born today.

My voice I’ll use to bring good news

     to help someone along the way…

Sing with me this Melody on this

     Christmas Day.

 

Do you have some Gold, Frankincense,

     or Myrrh, or an instrument to play?

Will you give your heart, hands and

     voice to Him on this Christmas Day?
