The Road Truth And Life
The Road Truth And Life (John 14:6)
© 2009 by Jesse L. McCuin
While traveling down a road one day,
A thought occurred to me:
Were I to die this very night-
Where’s my eternity?
Love so immense, immeasurable
Our sins He freely took.
For answers to my question,
I only had to look.
I am the road,
I am the truth,
And I am the life.
The Son of God,
The Lord of lords-
For you, I paid the price.
Please open up your heart right now.
Receive God’s love and grace.
It’s free to all; please heed this call-
Nothing can take its place.
I am the road,
I am the truth,
And I am the life.
The Son of God,
The Lord of lords-
For you, I paid the price.
Eternal life is down that road.
The truth is plain to see.
He’ll help you with your heavy load-
From fear of death, you’re free.
Please open up your heart right now.
Receive God’s love and grace.
It’s free to all; please heed this call-
Nothing can take its place.
I am the road,
I am the truth,
And I am the life.
The Son of God,
The Lord of lords
For you, I paid the price.
I am the road,
I am the truth,
And I am the life.
The Son of God,
The Lord of lords-
For you, I paid the price.
