Not Alone
Not Alone

You dropped your son off at the station;
Tomorrow he’ll be going overseas.
You left him with this supplication,
“Son, listen to me, won’t you please?”
All alone, all alone…. you’re never on your own.
All alone, all alone…you’re not alone.
There’ll be a cold wind blowin’;,
Like a bird your friends have flown
But in your heart the Word of God’s been sown.
You’re not alone, not alone, not alone; you’re not alone.
You took your daughter to the doctor.
It doesn’t look good after all the tests.
He said, “Results show that she’s in real danger,
But I’ll do my best; God does the rest.?’
You held her hand as they wheeled her down the hallway.
As your eyes were filling up with tears,
You prayed and told her that you loved her.
“Don’t you fear, my little dear.”
All alone, all alone… you’re never on your own.
All alone, all alone… you’re not alone.
Yes, there’s a cold wind blowin’;,
Chills you to the bone.
But in your heart the Word of God’s been shown.
You’re not alone, not alone, not alone; you’re not alone.
Remember to keep your head up,
And when in trouble, ask for help.
You’re going to make it through it;
You’re never by yourself.
At night the old man’s house feels empty
Because the love of his life just passed away,
But his faith and the memories keep him goin’
Through each day, I’ve heard him say..
“I’m not alone, not alone, not alone…
I’m not alone, not alone, not alone…”
All alone, all alone… you’re never on your own.
All alone, all alone; you’re not alone.
There’ll be a cold wind blowin’;
So you got to keep on going.
‘Cause in your heart, you’re satisfied just knowing.
You’re not alone, not alone, not alone; you’re not alone.
You’re not alone, not alone. You’re not alone.
