I can’t believe it’s Christmastime-
It can’t have been a year
Since we opened all our gifts together,
And all the folks were here.
The icy winter weather only added to the cheer.
Oh, I can’t believe it’s Christmastime, my dear.
I can’t believe it’s Christmastime.
Twelve months have come and gone
Since we sat around the fireplace,
Singin’ all those yuletide songs.
All our family was here and our closest friends.
I can’t believe it’s Christmastime again.
Oh, can’t you hear the choir singing
“Silent Night”?
Can’t you hear the church bells ringing
“O Holy Night”?
The whole town is glowing-such a beautiful sight!
I can’t believe it’s Christmastime tonight.
I can’t believe it’s Christmastime-
It’s been such a busy year.
Since the lights, the tree, the happiness,
All the things we hold so dear-
Like the Son of God came down to earth,
Born in Bethlehem.
I can believe it’s Christmastime again.
Oh, can’t you hear the choir singing
“Silent Night”?
Can’t you hear the church bells ringing
“O Holy Night”?
The whole town is glowing–such a beautiful sight!
I can’t believe it’s Christmas.…
I wanna believe it’s Christmas,
I’m so glad that it’s Christmastime again.
I’m so glad that it’s Christmastime again.
I’m so glad that it’s Christmastime again.
