Hold On To Him

When your world’s come down around you,
     And you’re lookin’ for some answers,
Maybe you’re down to your last dime.
     It seems the pain will overwhelm you,
And your life feels dark and lonely.
     You’re thinkin’; It’s just a waste of time.
You’ve got to hold on to Him
     When the hard times begin.

And when you feel that you can’t go on, hold on.
     And when you feel like giving up, and you don’t belong.
Just remember Who died for you He’ll “never leave nor forsake you”;
     He will see you through, so hold on.

Hard times are never here forever,
     Keep trustin’ in your Lord and Savior.
This rain will stop, and the sun will shine.
     You’ve got to hold on to Him when the storm clouds roll in.

And when you feel that you can’t go on, hold on.
     And when you feel like giving up, and you don’t belong.
Just remember Who died for you; He’ll “never leave nor forsake you”
     He will see you through, so hold on.

And when you’re in the eye of the storm;
     Your sails are tattered and torn.
Just remember Who died for you.
     He’ll “never leave nor forsake you”; He will see you through.
