Abel’s sacrifice was better; Enoch pleased God and was taken.

Noah heard God’s warnings, took heed, and was saved.

Abraham up and relocated and was named to be the father.

Would have killed his beloved son because of faith.

You think you know where you are going,

And you’re goin’ in a hurry.
Please don’t be so proud to see that a Savior is a callin’,

And He’s giving you a warnin’ cause He wants you to be all that
you can be.

Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau; Jacob blessed there were a dozen.

Joseph said, “Don’t leave my bod when you escape.”

Moses hidden in the water; Pharaoh’s daughter was not his mother;

Took the people through the sea because of faith.

If it’s a stone that you’ve been throwin’,

Then you’ll reap what you’ve been sowin’

Better ask the Savior for a stay.

Well, you better start your prayin’

And watch what you’ve been sayin’

So you’ll never fear that judgment day.

Between two pillars Samson labored……killed more Philistines than ever-

So the story in the book of Judges says.

Daniel went to face the lions,

But the beasts they were not hungry.

God’s still working through His people who have faith.

Don’t be dull of hearing cause our God He is a willing,

To remove the things that cause Him pain.

Like Melchizedek of old, but forever we are told.

Though Christ we have eternity to gain.
