He’ll Never Give Up On You

He will never give up on you.
     What I’m tellin’ you is true.
Even though you never pray or call upon
     His name,
Jesus will never give up on you.

He never gave up on me.
     Even when I couldn’t see that when I
needed Him the most and didn’t want
     Him close.
Jesus never gave up on me.

There is a way that seems so right.
     But it’s so far from the light.

He wants you on His side.
     And He wants you to survive.
He’ll forgive all you’ve done wrong
     And forever you’ll belong.
Cause Jesus never gives up on you.

One thing I want you to recall.
     That He will catch you when you fall.

When you’re down and in a slump..
     He’ll be there to nick you up.
And when your days get drear,
     I wanna make it clear.
He will never give up on you.
     And when there’s doubt and fear.
Remember that He is near.

And He will never give up on you.
     He’s begun a good work in you.
And He’s gonna see you through.
     Cause Jesus never gave up on you…
