Call On Jesus

When you got that awful phone call

     Causin’ all that doubt and fear;

And you felt like you was dyin”;

     You wish that you could disappear.

When everyone has gone and left you,

     And you feel so all alone,

I know Someone that can help you;

     He’ll never leave ya on your own.

You should call on Jesus; He’s your closest friend.

     When you get in trouble, He’s with you till the end.

Just call on Jesus when you lose or win;

     Just call on Jesus; He is your friend.

I want you to know that I have been there-

     So low that bottom looked like up.

Cut and bruised and barely breathin;

     Knocked down…but never counted out.

I simply call on Jesus; He’s my closest friend.

     When I get in trouble and on the ropes again,

He’s always in my corner when I lose or win.

     I call on Jesus; He is my friend.

In life we’re gonna have these trials-

     Misfortune, failure–large and small.

Many afflictions have the righteous;

     But the Lord will deliver from them all.

If we’ll call on Jesus; He’s our closest friend.

     When we get in trouble and on the ropes again,

He’s always in our corner when we lose or win;

     Just call on Jesus; He is our friend.

Gonna call on Jesus; He is my friend

     I’m gonna call on Jesus; He’s my friend.

          We need to call on Jesus; He is our friend.
