I’ll be arisin’ for good;

     Yes, I’ll be arisin’ for good.

The Lord was my Maker; His Son is my Savior.

     And I’ll be arisin’ for good.

Here to tell the gospel story,

     And to give Him all the glory.

The Book says, “Pray without ceasin’-

     To the Lord, that’s mighty pleasing.

Yes, I’ll be arisin’ for good;

     Yes, I’ll be arisin’ for good.

The Lord was my Maker; His Son is my Savior.

     And I’ll be arisin’ for good.

In this world of sin and sorrow,

     Livin’ as if there’s no tomorrow-

Don’t waste your time on empty things,

     Not caring what tomorrow brings.

Then you’ll be arisin’ for good;

     Yes, you’ll be arisin’ for good.

The Lord was your Maker; His Son is your Savior.

     And you’ll be arisin’ for good.

Friday morn, they crucified Him,

     Hung Him ‘tween two evil men,

Paid our price and rose in glory,

     So our new life could begin.

And we’ll be arisin’ for good,

     Yes, we’ll be arisin’ for good.
